Mooresville, NC (October 17, 2007) – Gabi DiCarlo and the Great Clips Race Team went into the ARCA/REMAX Series final race at the Toledo Speedway 11^th in series championship points. The young rookie driver would need all the skills that she has so quickly learned over the fast paced year in order to maintain that position with veteran driver Norm Benning only 15 race points behind. Gabi fought adversity all race long after getting caught up in one of the many cautions, but with the leadership of famed crew chief Barry Dodson and the Great Clips Crew she was able to hold on and finish 22^nd, one place ahead of her rival.

The exhausted driver then took part in a racing tradition as she removed the rookie stripes from the rear of her racer. The way this team finished the year and the addition of Dodson only look to pay big dividends in the 2008 season.
